SummerDaze Festival 2026 is set to return this August
SummerDaze Festival 2026 is set to return this August with two major events featuring some of the biggest names in music today.

The festival’s first headline show will take place on 11 August and will feature internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi.

The second main event is scheduled for 15 August and will be led by world-famous DJ and producer Calvin Harris. This event will be organised in partnership with BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems X and Creamfields.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Ian Borg described SummerDaze as one of the highlights of Malta’s summer events calendar, helping position the islands as a top destination for international entertainment. He said that hosting globally recognised performers like Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris strengthens Malta’s tourism offering and continues to attract audiences from across Europe and beyond.

This year’s edition of the festival will move to the Ta’ Qali Concert Area, where festivalgoers can enjoy two days of live music and entertainment in a new setting.

Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority, said that SummerDaze 2026 aims to deliver a high-quality festival experience by combining leading international artists with an upgraded venue and a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. He added that events like SummerDaze help reinforce Malta’s image as a modern and exciting destination for music fans.

Tickets for the festival will cost €10 and will include a reusable plastic cup to support efforts to reduce plastic waste, along with complimentary festival merchandise available during the event.
